Hannah Jadagu (pron. juh-dah-goo) is an 18 year-old singer, songwriter, and producer from Texas, signed to Sub Pop. She's all set to release her five-track debut EP on April 23rd. Today, she's sharing the official video for the EP’s title track, 'What is Going On?', directed by Cameron Livesey. The single features a chorus-drenched riff and phased strums reminiscent of the Beach Fossils guitar sound. The crisp packet drum sound is loaded with lo-fi tones and a tinge of hip hop. Hannah's vocals are addictively sentimental, the melody echoed by the jovial lead guitar. Hannah talks a little bit about the process of making the music video, "Originally, I just had a loose vision of a rooftop band scene and worked hard to make that happen. However, during the editing process, Cameron and I felt we were missing something. That something was a storyline. So, I decided to bring in actors Sarah Tie and Joseph McCain.
